Cherry Ames

One of the favorite children's series books at Hidden Staircase is the Cherry Ames stories published by Grosset and Dunlap.  Written by Helen Wells and Julie Tatham, the Cherry Ames series inspired many young people to enter the medical profession.  The stories depict Cherry in action as a nurse with a little bit mystery thrown in.  We have some of the book covers displayed below:
